So is this the new Republican strategy? Everytime they need to win a national election they get State lawmakers to put forth odiously hateful theocratic bills to draw evangelicals to the polls?
While I don't agree on a gay adoption ban, there are certainly merits to giving adoption priority to straight, married couples. I will note that China-based adoption agencies give preference to Chinese-American couples seeking children, which appears to make sense. Now that is certainly a rare occurrence (a race-based preference that favors Asian-Americans)!
